Adar Poonawalla, who has returned to India, has said that there is pressure on the production of vaccines to meet the increasing demand for Covid vaccines as the second wave of Covid in India has become deadly.

In an interview with Britain daily, Adar said the SII vaccine will be launched in other countries. He said he would announce the matter within a few days.
He also revealed in an interview that threatening calls are coming from some of India’s most influential people and are demanding the supply of Coveshield vaccines. A few days before that, the central government had provided them with Y Plus security.
