Bengaluru News: Sanjayanagar station on charges of illegally detaining a doctor Inspector Kathyayini Alva and two head constables have been suspended.
Police Commissioner Kamalpant has ordered the suspension of InspectorKathyayini Alva and Head Constables Manjunath and Panduranga. Shri Sai Hospital Doctor Nagraj was taken to the station for interrogation and was imprisoned.
He is being treated for serious injuries. Nagaraj had released a video about the attack on him. DCP Dharmendrakumar Meena of the Northern Division had directed JC Nagar ACP Reena Suvarna to investigate the case and submit a report.
An inspector and two head constables were found guilty in the preliminary investigation. The ACP investigation report was submitted to the Commissioner of Police through DCP, Kamalpant. Based on the investigation report, the commissioner has suspended all three.

Meanwhile, Inspector Kathiaini and two Head Constables of the Sanjayanagar Station were assigned to the DCP office as the case unfolded. Shri Sai Hospital Doctor Nagaraj had posted a video and a photo explaining the assault on him.
“Sagar has abused me in the station for two days for saying my name. Money is stolen. Someone has threatened a similar punishment again, ” Dr. Nagaraj alleged. The doctor, who was unable to sit down due to the atrocities on the buttocks, spoke in a state of sleep. There was outrage in the public sector against the atrocities.
