Bengaluru News: Covid Severity Score Software – has developed a software that lets users know which Coronal patients now need a Ventilator and ICU. ‘ The Covid Severity Score, a software company called the Covid Severity Score, was developed on Saturday to identify patients who need a ventilator or emergency service and ICU. The Software ICU (ICU) has an ‘algorithm’ that measures certain parameters to identify patients who need ventilators. With this help, timely medical treatment can be provided and the necessary arrangements can be made before an emergency emerges.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the software will help reduce the referral number of hospitals for patients who do not need critical care. It is commonly found that hospitals refer such patients to other hospitals that do not require an ICU or ventilator. This software can identify such patients and allow other patients to get to bed.
This software determines each patient’s condition on predetermined parameters and determines Covid‘s ‘severity’ score (CSS). “The technology is being used at three community COVID care centers in and around Kolkata,” the statement said. It also includes a 100-bed Government Covid Center in Barrackpore, Kolkata ”. IIT Guwahati, Dr. Kevin Dhaliwal, and Dr. Dhawan, who worked at WHO. Sayantan Bandopadhyay has jointly developed CSS.
