Bengaluru News: Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev His Patanjali Sunil Bansal, who manages the Ayurvedic company’s dairying business, has fallen victim to Covid, the company said Monday. Bansal was Allopathy Was getting treatment. The company said it had no role in it. Sunil Bansal (57), vice president of the Dairy Division of Patanjali Ayurveda, passed away on May 19.
Bansal, a dairy science specialist, joined its dairy business in January 2018 when Patanjali announced the sale of packaged cow’s milk and other dairy products including yogurt, buttermilk, and cheese.
‘Bansal died at Covid on May 19 at a hospital in Jaipur, Rajasthan. His wife is a senior health officer of the Rajasthan government, ”the Haridwar-based Patanjali Institute said in a statement.
The news of Bansal’s demise has been revealed after Baba Ramdev‘s controversial statement about allopathic medicine. It also mentions the news of Bansal’s death released by Patanjali.
“Patanjali had no role in Bansal’s allopathic treatment and was completely taken care of by his wife. But we were concerned about his health and asked his wife if she needed any help, ”Patanjali said.
A video of Baba Ramdev saying on a show that more people died due to allopathic treatment than Covid had caused controversy. He questioned the drugs and methods used to treat Covid. The IMA, upset by this, demanded an apology. Health Minister Harshavardhan said Ramdev’s statement was “very unfortunate”.
