Bengaluru News: Petrol-diesel prices are skyrocketing day by day. Petrol prices crossed the 100 bargain level in the state today. The price of petrol in Bengaluru has risen to ₹ 100.17 per liter while the price of diesel is ₹ 92.83 a liter
Petrol prices in Bellary and Shirazi reached Rs 100 yesterday. The price of petrol in the same month last month was ₹ 95.99, while the diesel price was ₹ 88.06. With petrol rising by ₹ 4.18 a month, diesel prices rose by ₹ 4.77.
Three-Day Continuous Rise: Fuel rates have been rising continuously for three days from May 4 to 6. Petrol prices have gone up by 29 paise, 18 paise and 24 paise per liter respectively.
In Delhi, petrol costs Rs 4.76 per liter while diesel costs Rs 5.31 per liter. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) revise fuel prices daily to meet international standards and foreign exchange rates.
Petrol in Mumbai is priced at Rs 101.52 per liter. Diesel is priced at Rs 93.58 per liter. Shri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan is the most expensive petrol and diesel in the country at Rs 106.37 per liter and Rs 99.23 per liter.
